Tap Log Shift on the Jar tab — cash tips, card tips, hours, done. Tip-outs, sales, and notes are under the expandable section. You can also tap the home-screen widget to jump straight into logging.
Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen → tap Edit → Add Widget → search "TipJar." There's also an animated walkthrough inside the app: Settings → "Add the jar to your home screen."
Yes, free. Export a CSV from your old tracker or spreadsheet, save it to Files, then in TipJar: Settings → "Import from another app (CSV)." TipJar detects the columns, shows a preview, and skips duplicates. Step-by-step guide →
Everything lives on your iPhone — no account, no servers, and we cannot see your data. That also means TipJar can't recover data that only existed on a lost or erased phone, so keep your device backed up (iCloud or computer backups include TipJar's data). You can export all shifts as CSV anytime from Settings.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage, cancel, or check your renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Open the upgrade screen in TipJar and tap Restore Purchases while signed into the same Apple Account you bought with.
Every shift is editable: tap it on the Jar tab or in History, fix any field, or delete it with the trash icon. Weekly totals follow your week-start setting (Settings → "Week starts on").
